that's why my wife always makes sure that all the doors of the taxi are locked whenever she rides one.

taxi drivers should at least have a steel pipe that they could use to ward off attackers.

a friend of mine was shot at while waiting for the traffic light to turn green. this was after midnight and at the intersection of vito cruz and osmena highway. he didn't see where they came from. he and his companions were surprised that their car was surrounded and that they were trying to open the doors of the car.
