di ba ang wings sa trunk is used for traction?
bakit karaniwan ng may wings na nakikita ko ay FWD vehicles tulad ng hondas, mitsus etc. may tulong ba talaga ito sa traction even if it is fwd?

Wings do not create traction, they create downforce, which gives the same effect as having weights in the car at speed. This aids in high speed stability and adds to cornering traction merely because there's more "weight" pushing down on the wheels.
But since the speeds at which downforce becomes appreciably effective are very high, they don't really do anything for the handling of most road cars. Plus they add drag (which equals lower top speeds and higher fuel consumption.)
Also, any trunk-mounted wing which actually creates effective downforce will warp the trunk. I know this from experience. Don't ask me how.
It's not a case of whether or not it's effective for FF... FF cars can still benefit from downforce on track... it's a case of whether you need it on a car that can barely exceed 100 mph (160 kmh).
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

ginagaya yung mga touring cars (like from the JGTC)...
unless you are doing some track time (and your engine has a minimum of 400 horses) this is completely useless. though some cars have this as OEM (like the Noble M12):

most of the time talaga, aesthetics lang yan. some cars look good with it, some don't. speaking of wings...we were just at a chinese restaurant for dinner, and the name of our waiter is Wing (walang biro), so naturally, i ordered chicken wings. "can i have some chicken wing, Wing?"

Kung FWD dapat nasa Front din ang wing.
as above, if you want to go OEM-style, get a "spare tyre lock". but i use an ordinary cheap...
