Maybe that Camry driver's not willing to push his car that much. You also have to realize most midsize sedan drivers doesn't fit that profile except those who buy V6 Nissan Altimas. Every V6 3.5SE Altima driver I've seen are pretty cocky and ready to put some abuse in their car. Explains why many Pinoy drivers here own V6 Altimas.

My 06 Sonata would be the opposite of that Camry. It's a bit slow from a stop because of its weight. But once it's moving, it gets going pretty fast and is happy in the mid-upper power band which is probably the same thing what that guy (who got busted doing 147 mph) found out.

Maybe. But when it's on, it's on... I've even gotten Accord and Volvo drivers to go for it.

But the Camry V6 has an "intelligent" electronic throttle... and those sometimes delay acceleration while they try to figure out if you really want to kick it or if your foot just slipped...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    3.5L Camry = 270hp * 6,200 RPM
but since it is mated with an automatic and pulling a heavy body, it would be slower than expected.

My main problem at the moment is the sentra doesn't have a functioning tach. I was shifting based on maximum speed on each gear.

i doubt that nissan pick up can go up to 155kph unless the speedometer is faulty, the most it can go is 130-135kph. we had a 96 pathfinder brandnew it can only hit up to 140kph.

..and i think its a must for the d-max to hit 160kph, 3.0 intercooler na yan e. yon ngang 2nd gen na starada may umaabot ng 160 e 2.5 lang yon. pero bilib parin ako sa new strada, 2.5 pero ang bilis talaga nakasakay ako kaya 190kph.

    210 km/h * 6k rpm on skyway 5am. 170-180 km/h on a typical super light traffic on skyway, all stock. 1.8V M/t civic 07.

    175 km/h 06 Toyota Fortuner 3.0V a/t 6am march 22, '07 skyway.

BMW X3 - 195km/h on Skyway, light traffic. Around 5:30PM.
Nissan Teana - 190km/h, 09/16/07. around 9:00PM, also on the Skyway.

All I can say is, it truly is exhilarating... yet both cars don't seem to give an impression that you are running at such a high speeds, unless you were to glance at the speedo

over 200kpm but under 210kpm and stayed on that speed -FOR OVER 15 MINUTES!! with my six cylinder nissan laurel 240 sgl (sporty). the six lane expressway was impeccable and you can see as far as you could see with no too much vehicles around. what a rush of adrenaline dude...
