I did a spirited run with my FXT before on the Subic-bound part of SCTEX. From the NLEX-SLEX cloverleaf to Floridablanca, it took me about 15 minutes. It was 8am when I entered SCTEX and by 830am, I was already playing golf at Basa Airbase.

I was doing over 200 kmh in the long stretch of SCTEX from Porac to Floridablanca. The noise from the wind outside could be heard loudly inside the cabin.

I never tried going over 200 kmh again but I did try 200 kmh at TPLEX. That time, I was cruising on the left lane at 150 kmh when an Everest 3.2L tried to pass me on the right. I gave him a bit of a challenge but he lost steam or nerves past 180 kmh.

Subaru I think has the speed limiter at around 230kph unless you removed it.

Up to 250kmh ata speed limiter ng WRX at WRX STi. There were stories in Boxer Madness of a WRX doing 245kmh at SCTEX.

I never went past 200kmh at SLEX. The fastest I did was 190kmh between Bicutan and Sucat. That was southbound during light traffic in the early days of ECQ last year. Northbound within the same stretch, there were a few times in the morning (5am to 6am) that I had the Fiesta Ecoboost do around 160 to 170 kmh.

Around 230-240kmh at STAR toll way back around 2007 when wala pang speed guns/cameras. Testing big turbo and if tune removed speed limiter on WRX.

A few years back, I chanced upon a 2013 Nissan GT-R on the car wash in front of our subdivision. The owner was not a snob and I asked him about his Godzilla. It was not the usual GT-R but an AMS-tuned GT-R rated at 950hp.

I asked him how fast he has gone with his tuned Godzilla. He showed me a video from the inside while the car was zipping thru SCTEX from Subic. His digital speedometer was at 297kmh!

Just got lucky that no other vehicles and pedestrians were around. Did it with the Legacy GT so it can pretty much burst up to speed but then its another busy road up ahead so I slowed down immediately.

marami din idiots sa expressway who merge in the overtaking lane at way below moving pace. forcing those in the left most lane to abruptly slow down.

I was doing 60 on stage3 last week -middle lane, and then another vehicle merged into my lane - from the right - coming from an on ramp- but he was doing only 40... Wala ba talaga ritong nanghuhuli ng obstruction of traffic???

BTT: Did 150 on our 2010 1.3L - NLEX.... Just to stretch its legs....
