"The thief-proof, bomb-proof Mercedes of Jurgen Schrempp, the head of DaimlerChrysler, has been stolen from under his nose. Herr Schrempp’s £500,000 limousine with 5cm-thick steel plating, a landmine-resistant petrol tank and bullet-proof windows could drive on, even accelerate, after the tyres had been shot out or lacerated with spikes."

Assassination of German Bank Chairman, November 30, 1989: The Red Army Faction assassinated Deutsche Bank Chairman Alfred Herrhausen in Frankfurt.
This guy was killed by terrorists who studied his route, and planted shaped-charged bombs designed to penetrate his armored Mercedes.

I remember that one... (it's ooooold) the assassination was pure genius. They hid the charges in a satchel bag on an innocent looking bicycle parked by the road. When the armored limo (with glass capable of stopping even AK47 rounds) passed, the charges went off, pushing a metal plate at supersonic speeds through the window of the limo... hitting it so hard that it lifted the car off the ground.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Seen that also on Discovery Channel, the assassins are very smart and indeed patient. It took the assassins more or less a month to plan and implement their murdering deed. Sir hagiber maybe right, maybe they use a crane and a flatbed truck.
