Pero who tests the cars? Customers. They don't know about break-in period, about not giving it WOT (kaya nga test drive, you get to test it on a normal basis, not as a brand new car). IMO a test car will break down earlier in its life dahil di na-break in ng maigi.
Ever see those "tester" bottles on display? Gamit na gamit sila. Same with test cars.
Sometimes, however, customers want to buy new stock, whereas some customers will stick with the test car provided it's within their boundaries, with the price being a large factor. Of course kung wala talagang car na ganun and it's the only one available, choice is limited.Last edited by mbeige; November 21st, 2006 at 04:55 PM.

November 21st, 2006 05:37 PM #13Ano milage? Baka disconnect yung cable para mukhang low milage car.
Try to get more than 10% discount para covered na 1st year depreciation and get them to change the oil. Kung pwede pati air and fuel filter palit.

offer sa akin: 10% sa 1st month, already 900+kms and growing. 20-30% on the 2-3 months....anyways still open pa me di pa ako nakipag-close ng deal kahit kanino.
ps. di nila pwedeng alisin ang speedo cable, kasi nga po test drive unit, e di di gumana ang spedometer pag ganun??

Inaalis nila ang speedo cable. Ganun yung Rio M/T na test drive ko. Not sure lang on A/T models.
Ex-demos are not really that bad. If you will keep the car for only 5-10 years, and malaki naman ang discount, sulit na. Hindi naman sila 'test' units in the strictest sense of the word. They are not the units used for instrumented acceleration, brake tests, etc. Sometimes, the clients floor them for around 100meters or so. Mga tipong ganun lang.
Very limited ang test drive area ng Kia. Usually around the block or in the vicinity lang. During tours, naka-display lang naman sila sa mga nightspots for people to oogle at.

Yung media units lang ang pwede i-uwi. Hindi naman siguro media unit iyang ginagamit nila. hehehe.
