For this kind of work, I'd rather you do it yourselves or do it under your supervision provided you have an idea of the scope of the project.

Of course, this will come out to be more expensive in most cases but there is a certain satisfaction in doing projects like these.

But sabi nga ni Otep, mas malaki gastos.

nung isang araw lang naka kita ako ng gantong set-up k20 sa ef grabe ang sikip ng engine bay wala ka namng ma isisingit! pro marami nag sasabi sakin mas maganda parin daw iset-up ang b-series kesa sa k-series!

Go for LS-VTEC set up the best un, matulin at mura lang!

nah... magiging mas-masikip nga yung K series sa Engine bay ng EF's, but it's doable and it's been done many times here... Kahit naman malaki yung engine ng konti at medyo hndi ganong kadali yung fitment, it's well worth doing it... Tsaka, ano pa bang pwedeng ilagay sa engine bay? Ang design lang talga ng K-series hindi ka binigyan ng masyadong room to maneuver underneath and up top... Nung may Integra ako ang daling magtrabaho sa engine bay, yung DC5/RSX Type S naman ng isa kong friend CAI lang it takes double the time as the B-series would.. Pero when it comes to performance, K > B... K series is well developed from and is clearly engineered to surpass the B-series... Also, it's got better tranny than the b18c/b16a's 5 spd... Also, bigger dispacement = better engine potential...

Oo nga pala, LS-Vtec is cheaper but it's limited to what you're about to do and how far you want to go, if you just swap head and it's components, and ECU, it's not even gonna be faster than a real B18C1... IMHO you could spend as low as $800 to VTEC your B18B but it doesn't go as fast...
