Php23911.2 savings is quite something, but of course, this is economy over quality . Seriously, you are sacrificing comfort by getting a picanto over the other cars. For daily ride, especially a short one, this may be acceptable. But when you start factoring in your family, car lifespan/quality, comfort, picanto just doens't make the cut. Jazz, pwede pa, but that's just me though.

BTW, our 2002 Altis J can do 11~12KPL in the City.

I was thinking, kung gusto ko talaga makatipid, why not take a cab, right? Wala ka babayaran na parking and no consumables. But with all the discomfort of commuting, this isn't really an option.
