But secondhand? A 96-97 Civic VTi or LXi fits into that category... both very fuel efficient, and decently modern equipment for your money.

Honda Civic LXi should fit the requirement.

If you can extend your budget (by a lot), you can get the Honda City 1.3 iDSi

I'm not sure which year models of Lancer and Corolla fit. The latest year models that fit would probably be 00' Ford Lynxes... best kit of any cars in the price range. Gas consumption isn't as good as the Civic, though.

95-97 Corolla, may sukli pa yung 250 mo. Maintenance and parts are cheap and easy, fuel economy is great.

For 200-250k, I'd look for a 95-97 GLi, and use what's left for repairs and upgrades/mods. Basta wag mag madali, konting patience lang.
