Ikaw yata nagtanong kay slim-ding about restoration of a 240z sa kabilang thread, kakatakot nung possible cost
daming ding christmas party nong friday e kaya konte lang nakapunta pero still masaya. sama ka next time

oo, taas nga ng presyo ng mga fastbacks, taas din kasi demand e. personally fastback din preference ko over mustang coupe. overall kasi restoration, whether sa fastback or coupe or any other car, it will cost roughly the same (kapag same condition syempre hehe). in my opinon, kung magrerestore ka man lang, cguraduhin mo nalang na yon talaga gusto mo kasi halos parehas din magagastos mo.

    patience and contacts lang yan

Muscle car. I actually prefer the coupes over the fastbacks, but that's just me. I like the Karmann Ghia too, ***y novelty car.

Not that as a student I can afford to run a car much less a second one, kuntento nako sa Sarao/Hino/Rotem rides.

forgot to ask, for a stock tire/mags setup of a BJ40, i assume steering is not a problem, right? para ka lang din nagmamaneho ng owner-type jeep?

how much do sellers ask for a running unit requiring only moderate restoration?

Units rarely fall below Php150k. Expect around 200k-300k for something with a roof, a/c and audio.

Rarely will you find an LC40 with stock tires. The stock wheels were steel rims and narrow tires. Parang sa mga jeepney lang.

My uncle must have been lucky, then... he got his for under 200k. But that was four years ago... and the unit needed (and still needs) quite a bit of work.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Lucky indeed! For a BJ40 power steering conversion, i usually hear the saginaw p/s mentioned. Any bad side when having this power steering installed on the BJ40? Like, is the steering feel/feedback compromised during highway speed, affects chassis strength integrity?
