    imho

get a mid size sedan, di naman kalakihan niyan, konting lang ang nilaki sa 1.6 sedans
dont worry about denting it, bumping it, eh talagang mangyayari kung yan ang iniisip mo

i agree with macky kung kaya mo brand new why not, pero kung hindi get a mid size
2.0 liter or V6 like yung kay KCboy, 160kph di pa nanginginig kotse unlike yung VTi ko 130kph pa lang nag rarattle na sa daan

Ako sa MB100 unang nag-maneho tapos W123 na Benz. Naliitan ako so pinalitan ng Besta.

Parang matic. hehehe.

Sir Otep, is this true for all diesel engine vehicles? or only for good diesel cars like pajero, etc? :?:

diesels are more forgiving in terms of the clutch dance

    kaboodle,

it more-or-less applies to almost all diesel engines of considerable displacement... it's the low-end torque at work, though, and not necessarily the diesel engine itself. i think a gas engine with huge low-end torque (perhaps the dodge viper?) would also not die so easily from a clutch misstep

    hi all,

thanks for your advice, keep 'em coming. I think I'm leaning towards buying a 2nd hand car, hopefully i have enough for a mid-level car. Much as I would like a brand new car, I don't think I can afford it.

for all those selling their cars, if they're still available by june, expect a call from me in the meantime, will try to read up on what steps to take in buying a 2nd hand car.

    April_Ryan,

Afrasay's GEN I Pajero is for sale down at the Diesel Forum. You might want to take a look at it. A good deal IMHO. I've seen it in action on and off-road.

8O Whoa! Took a look at the pics of the Pajero, not too sure if my ahem, driving skills, can manage it. Thus far, been driving a 95 Honda Civic Esi, intermittently, for about 6 months. And, I don't even know what off-roading means.

Well, maybe my dad could get the Pajero and I can get the honda...hmmm.

    April_Ryan,
