bttt:
don't paint the moldings. the molding material is super-flexible and not meant to be painted. you can do it if you want, but two bad things usually happen when you do this:
1. the paint eventually cracks and peels
2. the paint may come out as a slightly different hue because of the differences in the material, even if the color matches.
you have a nice spoiler. i'd keep that.
rims = i'll go a little bigger and go with 16's. for porma purposes you gotta fill out the wheel well. but make sure you do some lowering if you plus size your rims to avoid the SUV effect.
a nice sound system would be cool because you have plenty of options with a hatchback.
performance mods? imho as a former Honda modder, it's not worth it for your car unless you're willing to go all out. you could get the big fart pipe, intake, headers, etc. for a little bit of gain, but you're still stuck with an economy car and a relatively gutless (no offense) torque curve.
imho again, the only way to properly mod a Honda is to drastically increase the power with FI or an engine swap.

August 26th, 2006 12:46 PM #62Thanks for the great reponses niky, Karding, Mamar, the_wildthing, tsupermario and M54_Powered.
The side rubber moldings I'll probably just leave. Its not so bad to have a little black left in the blueness of the sea. But I really don't like the rubber sideskirts and the front and rear rubber.
Can I combine an SiR front and a CTR rear bumper? Do you think it will look good? The reason behind this is because I like how the foglights are placed on the SiR bumper and I like the curvy shape of the CTR rear. Do you guys think it will look good together?
The rims I'll buy the white Circuit 10, they'll probably look good.
The sideskirts, I have no idea. Which should I change it to? SiR or CTR?
I will lower it probably when I'm finished with the above priorities as I have no idea as of know how lowering works. Maybe I should bring it to a shop. Suggestions are welcome!
I have no idea on which mufflers to use as well. The current one looks really small and gay. Any ideas?
Also, I cant help but get confused again as I was introduced to yet another unknown term. What is "detailing"? Is it some sort of repainting?
All this for a budget of 50k PHP.
