Loose Compression Testing

Yun nga yata... not sure per engine kung ano yung exact... depende rin yata sa ambient pressure. Last time I did this, 110-112 yung engine na na-test namin. Malakas pa yung hatak niya, naninigurado lang ako dahil surplus.

If your engine starts to lose compression from blown piston rings or a leaking gasket, usually, the effect is stronger for cylinders on one side or for one particular cylinder.

There's also a wet and dry procedure for this to determine what part can be blown.

afaik there's a different compression tester for diesel and gas engines..

mga sir tama ba, pwede rin ma-test ang compression when downhill, kapag may engine brake at first gear, kapag kayang kontrolin ng makina ang pagbaba mo ibig sabihin e ok pa sya...
