September 6th, 2007 11:15 PM #1Guys, it's bound to happen..
Been questioning ourselves why the mother land of all tuner cars does not have a live action movie of the tuning cars, street racing, driftting etc. (tired of all their popular animated and manga versions about it e.g. Initial D and Wangan Midnight), The Americans even beat them to it.. but now the wait is over.
The all star cast includes:
- A pink Nissan Fairlady Z (Z32)- A hot lady driver owns this hot pink Z32
- A orange Nissan Silvia 180SX (S13)- Your American dude, trying to be Brian O' Conner and his blue GT-R of dFn'F I guess
- A white Mazda RX-7 (FC3S)- the good guy... the most underrated and underpowered, trying to be Takumi(boring)
- A black Mazda RX-7 (FD3S)- the bad weird psychotic guy
What you think guys?

It's a drift scene movie.
Glad they left out all the marketing glitz and settled on cars that represent "real" drifters.

I think most stunts are CG...
if indeed most are CG, it will be less entertaining...

The trailer makes it feel like how Initial D would be if they merged it with 2 Fast & 2 Furious.
I think I would watch it.
