    FC = 2nd Generation 1986 Mazda RX7 Turbo (yung puti na RX7)

    anywayz, yung FD and FC.. mga Chassis codes lang yun ng Mazda RX7.

    Speaking of RX7 ano naman iyong tawag sa mga RX7 na model 1983? FD rin ba sila?

    FD = 3rd Generation 1993 Turbo (yung dilaw na RX7)
    FC = 2nd Generation 1986 Mazda RX7 Turbo (yung puti na RX7)

    Good question.

    The 1983 RX-7 is internally called the "SA22C." The North American cars got the letters "FB" stamped on their chassis, but they refer to the same car.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RX-7

    Most of us probably remember "Shaider"...Annie's ride was a yellow SA22C Mazda RX-7.

    Mazda's "S" chassis designation made a comeback with the 2003 Mazda RX-8, which is internally called the "SE3P."

    For Japanese car enthusiasts and tuners, it's usually much quicker and easier to refer to cars by their chassis codes (FD, FC for the Mazda RX-7s) instead of saying "1991-1998 Mazda RX-7" or "third-generation Mazda RX-7."

    "FD" also happens to be the chassis code for the most recent Honda Civic. Civics used to have chassis codes that started with "E" (e.g. EF, EG, EK, ES denoting successively newer Civic chassis from 1988-2005) but Honda ran out of two-letter combinations, so they started using "F"

    It's the same thing with BMWs, although it's a little less straightforward. Chassis codes for BMWs are made up of "E" and two numerals, e.g. "E46" refers to the previous-generation 3-series. Starting 2009, they'll be using "F" as well because they ran out of "E" combinations

What's the meaning of FD sa mga hmmm.. race cars malamang ito?
