As we were talking about last night on "Counterflow" (hanep, feeling celebrity!), it takes about 30-40 hp to power a typical streetable supercharger. The only electric motors I know in that range are huge and require a 400-500 volt system.

That's why the bogus electric supercharger makers go on and on about rpms... because they can't prove that their motors make enough horsepower to create enough pressure to make a power difference. Kahit yung Thomas Knight, limited ang applicability... it's only a 15 hp motor, good for just a moderate increase in power compared to a similarly made turbo or supercharger system... and, again... short bursts lang.
