I'm planning to buy a charade. What are the pros and cons of the charade?

Was there a charade model with power steering sold in the Philippines?

Is it possible to have a power steering system installed in the charade?

walang lumabas na power steering sa Pinas. ewan ko lang abroad. kasi sa liit niya, nag gaan na ng manibela.

obvious naman that a japanese brand is better than a Korean, 'wag sana magalit Kia owners observation ko lang... kasi my sister has a Kia and sakit sa ulo when it comes to quality and comfort. Bad thing about Daihatsu's eh hirap hanapin ng parts at mahal pa.

i think may ilan-ilan nagseset-up pa din ng charade (turbo charged)...

actually di naman mahirap hanapin ang daihatsu parts lalo na ang spareparts sa banawe marami bnew,ang medyo mahirap lng eh ung mga body parts like fenders,bumpers etc.

i own a '93 charade... and i should say it is one heck of a ride...

napapanahon na nga talaga i-angat ang tsikot na to esp na iilan nalang tayo meron nito... here sa cebu, bibihira lang makahanap ng charade which is at some point i am proud to have own one...

sana nga lang may mga specialty shops for this kind of auto kasi gusto ko i-upgrade, alang gusto mag-dare... have seen some charades sa manila na starlet na ang engine, and i would wish to convert mine to one... may kamahalan lang nga but i find the expense worth it...

let's start the charade revolution!!!

converted na engine nun to starlet... loaded for speed na yung charade na yun... dami na upgrades... owner is selling it for P190k... di ko na nga alam kung asan... ask ko friend ko who owns a shop here sa cebu...

he showed me the photo of the auto (wow! rhyme!) yesterday... converting engines like that would cost P30k - P45k... kasama na labor...

charade's do not have a power steering system however you can convert it to one... ka-ching!!! yes, you have to spend to have it converted pa... however you need not worry kung di sya power steering kasi di naman sya ganun kabigat imaneho... in fact, the car is light and easy to manuever...

PROS: super tipid sa gas... made in japan... strong engine power
CONS: super mahal naman ang spare parts PLUS hard to find (but makakahanap ka naman, eventually...matatagalan lang nga esp kung i-order pa)

just make sure you check the auto first before ka buy... just like any other used cars, verify its mileage, underchasis and its engine to ensure that you are not being robbed by the seller...

isa lang masasabi ko to sum this all up, charade runs better than a mitsubishi CZ colt!

sir help nmn po baka may alam kayo san pede makabili ng tail light ng charade pang left side... nalibot ko na buong banawe ang hirap mag hanap ng pang left side marami dun right side lng... baka may alam kayo ...

hello, pre...

currently, i am in cebu...tama ka, mahirap talaga maghanap ng left TL sa Charade...i also got mine changed 2yrs ago...good thing may nabili ako dito sa Cebu pero it took me a month jsut to get one...marami namang parts dito pero mahal sya...it costs P3k just for one tail light w/c is very unreasonable however no choice kasi mahirap maghanap ng pyesa...

if di ka pa nakahanap, try ko maghanap dito...just send me your PM and i'll try to check also for a contact# of the store para kayo nalang ang mag-negotiate on how to order and the delivery...
