I went w/ a co-worker today to test drive an Evo IX since he is thinking of buying one. But the car we used to go to the car dealership was a the 2006 Shelby Mustang GT-H the limited edition Shelby made for Hertz rent a car. The rental was $99 a day w/ a 100 mile limit per day (it's .20 cents for any added miles), he rented it for 2 days. The car was great we got alot of thumbs up from other cars and even got more attention than a Ferrari Testarossa at an intersection.

The test drive of the Evo was another story, the salesman tried to show my friend it was possible to take off in second gear and asked him to pull over(since my friend was driving) and rev the engine (it was at 7K rpm) and dump the clutch. My buddy didn't dump the clutch but instead feathered it and ended up burning the clutch( ) . When we came to a stop the car had smoke coming out of the hood and through the firewall with the smell of a burnt clutch. When we left the dealership 3hrs later you could still smell it in the car. hehehe Needless to say he wasn't going to be buying that particular car.
