newbie here. i have been a lurker for quite some time already but just registered because i need your help on a specific topic. i have searched already for a thread on how to properly break in a brand new car but the latest thread that is showing in my search result is 2008. there was a 2010 result but for a specific car brand/make so i guess the opinions and/or suggestions will not be applicable to my query.
i need the know how in breaking in my brand new ride. i have bought a brand new ford fiesta 5dr 1.6 powershift trend (automatic). all i know about break ins is that the speed must not exceed 100km/h. this should be done to brand new cars in the 90s. how about for the rides that just came out just now? is this rule still applicable? to be honest, i dont have that much knowledge in cars so i really do need your suggestions and/or you opinions on how to go about this. please
up ko po. more than a week na at naitakbo ko na new ride ko more than 120kph. ok lang po ba yun? another thing found in the manual is "do not drive your car very fast in the first 1500km". no specifics on the "very fast" so i am really in the dark here. please
Sir ok lang yang 120kph. Actually recommended nga na wag ka mag-stick sa iisang speed lang (let's assume you're in the highway). Dapat paiba iba. 100 then 110 then 120 then 130 back to 100 etc.
