about the lynx RS...
you'll have to ask yourself if you're willing to take an M/T over an A/T for your daily long-haul commute. i think that's the more significant factor over engine size and boy-racer personality
the altis and civic and the used-car option may be less glamorous choices than the Lynx RS, but they may turn out to be more practical.
pero kung ok lang sa yo yung M/T, aba, sa Lynx RS na hehe :D

as said over and over again in these boards, the ford lynx (any variant of it) is the best bang for the buck compact sedan!
as between the lynx and lancer, my vote would go for the lynx... why? simple... the lancer's very ugly front grille. the overall packaging of the lancer is a-ok.
