October 22nd, 2002 10:54 PM #1This is an old topic in the Kotse.com boards but I never got to read it in detail...
While I was in California, I was able to purchase well, what else but a California Duster.... Kasi naman I heard so much about it kaya bumili na rin ako...
My question is how do I take care of a thing like this?
Paano ba nililinis yang duster na yan? :D

October 23rd, 2002 01:56 AM #2As far as I know (theveed, correct me if I'm wrong here!), the car duster does not need to be cleaned. The strands are baked in special wax meant to lift the dirt of the car that get more effective with use. So the "dirtier" the duster, the better it actually is!
All you need to do is to shake it before (and after, I think) you pass it over your car.
I have yet to wash my duster, but I think it is possible to wash it. There are special instructions that come with it if ever you think the duster has stopped picking up dirt!
Good luck!
