    same state of affairs in china's and india's local indust. idiocracy is the main culprit behind road accidents even after meeting the international safety and epa requirements. how far can bags and belt go as far as a

    - side impact with a commercial bus driven by a drunk who'll just blame it on the bad brakes
    - 100ft plunge off a cliff
    - head-on collision with a drowsy driver behind a semi

    not much.

    however, the incorrect pricing of a vehicle stated on the article is unjustifiable

    The pricing is driven by the local tax structure, which is usually written to protect models made locally.

    It's misleading to compare prices between Mexico and the United States, because the US has a totally different tax structure, and charges lower for cars and fuel than anyone else does.

    Which is why the US highway infrastructure is starting to fall apart.
