Please help me guys. My fiesta just got delivered today. Everything checked out fine. However, in my excitement, i left the car keys insidet. BOTH car keys. The original and the spare. I did not unlock the whole car. I just opened the hatch.

I just called my SA and she told me the only solution is to break the rear quarter glass plate and open the fiesta from the inside. Then bring the car to the dealership to have the quarter glass plate replaced for about 2,800 (with installation na daw yun).

Is there really no other alternative?

    Masyado ako naging excited

Ask them if there is a way for them to reprogram a key to open it and void the older keys... Might be a more expensive solution than their solution but at least you don't need to break your FoFi's quarter glass...

i say just break the quarter window na nga lang. baka mas masira pa kapag kinalikot ng locksmith yung door locks, or kung gamitan nung pang-carnap na device. hehe

Siguro look away na lang while they do it, must hurt so much to see your brand new car being smashed like that...

Cheapest way is to buy a new key without the remote, asked for the key code from ford and take it to the locksmith to get it cut.

Hindi ba pwede yung ginagawa ng guard sa malls when their owners locked their keys in their cars where they insert a blade may windows ng kotse para ma unlock yung doors?

Or is this no longer applicable to newer cars?

Iwan mo sa Timog/ Tomas Morato area, prefereably in a secluded spot, pero pabantayan mo with some of your cop-friends. In a few minutes, may mga carnappers na pupunta diyan at pilit na bubuksan yun without breaking or damaging anything.

Pag nabuksan na, tsaka kayo lumabas para hulihin sila. (Or you can set them free, hehe, since they saved you from spending 2.8k).

Seriously, may mga magagaling na tirador na gumagamit ng long, flat blade to open the car by inserting it in the window channel. Sa Banawe, maraming ganun. I was witness to an impromptu demonstration by those tambays. Worth considering, IMO.

I also considered bringing the car to Banawe as I have seen those impromptu demonstrations too. But I was forbidden from doing so.

    Really, really sad

You are probably speaking to the wrong person (not your fault).

The "build order" for your vehicle will show "key codes" which can be used to make new keys. The dealer should have this information.

    or;

Talk to a qualified locksmith, who, in the alternative can open the rear hatch by picking the lock, which usually is easier to open than a side door.

    Ciao!

    Uncle Nick.

The hatch door of the Fiesta is ELECTRICAL. Its not mechanical. So its going to be easier to pick the passenger doors which only the driver side has...

I too only see two options to open your FoFi, either you get a duplicate key made using the codes or break the quarter glass.

Trying to get a locksmith to open your car might just damage your lock and eventually you'll have to change all locks (including igition if you don't like to carry a different one for this). Mind you, there is only one key hole for the FoFi hatch, this is by the drivers door only. Also, trying to gain entry via the hatch is not possible as well.

C'mon just break the Glass! I wanna know if its really going to trigger an alarm hehehehe Seriously, cause Fofi owners have to take "that there will be an alarm when the window is broken" in good faith since there is no perimeter alarm for the Fofi, even a sound when you lock unlock the doors.

Fabricate an aluminium key sa mall. Then put it in your wallet.

Dati the alarms had auto lock. So if you leave the keys inside....

Had to experience this in a gas station. From then on i have an aluminum spare key in the pocket.

Now no need na since no mode auto lock ang mga alarm ng cars namin.

HELP:( Ford Fiesta 2011 - ALL keys left inside
