Ford explorer owners here anyone?

just an update,
my car was diagnosed as rack and pinion fault and was covered under the recall program for free. the car seems to be perfect now and most of the problems have seem to have gone away with this replacement.
any error which says
Service advantrac
Power steering assist failure
Awd off
Terrain management fault
traction control fault
knocking sound from suspension

these are all symptoms of a failing rack and pinion. if your car explorer is between 2011-2013, there was a recall and you might qualify for it.

how many days did you have to wait for parts and how long did it take to replace the r&p?

in total 2 weeks. they said it would cost me 360k but they will try to get it done under the "warranty".
it was actually a recall which they referred to as warranty. then FGP (Ford Group Philippines) sent in the new rack and pinion and all in all took me 2 weeks.

Hi. To any Ford Explorer 2013 owners here - please help:
When I turn on the engine I SOMETIMES (rarely) get "Power Steering Assist Fault" and "Lane Keeping Sys. Malfunction - Service Required"
I will turn OFF and turn ON the engine and everything will be fine. I brought it to FORD BGC and they advised that they upgraded the software. I got it back and the alert disappeared for two weeks but then the notification popped up again today. I talked to FORD BGC and they told me they will need to replace the steering gear (Php250K+). I was told there are no recalls on this item. Is this true? Please advise/help. Thank you!

Maybe its the battery almost dying and it cannot fully initialize the system before starting? Anyways, just a guess....

to date they will still honor the recall?

Hinde na..mine was replaced under warranty nun 2017 yata then last year nasira nanaman and I have to pay out of pocket na.
