Kung fully synthetic ginamit na oil pwede sa 10,000kms OCI, kung 1 year inabot para ma reach thats still ok. Pero kung mineral lang yan at gagawin na 10K OCI, thats not good...
Turbo timers are made to prolong turbo life.. After a long drive or hard acceleration, ex. Expressways, or even mild driving speeds of 40kph and above, the turbo is very hot, and suddenly shutting the engine off will coke( oil that has degraded and will stick to metal parts) the engine oil inside the turbo bearings, thus shortening the life of the turbo.
Madameng brands of turbo timers, you can google " how to take care of turbo" and one answer will include turbo timer....
Turbo of the eve which is VGT cost more than 150k pag nasira... Thats why favor sa casa pag nasira.. Kitakita eh.. Remeber the casa is there to earn profits not help the consumers...

January 11th, 2013 06:45 AM #1492I am planning to buy an Everest. I never had a Ford and I am hearing/reading a lot of complaints about their after sales service and expensive parts. Usually from the 1st and 2nd gen owners. Is this true? I really like the Everest and my friends who own one love it. So far my friends just do regular PMS with their EVerest (3rd Gen) and wala pa naman major breakdown. BTW, how much is a regular PMS sa Ford?

January 13th, 2013 11:43 AM #1495Sir u wont regret it..
About naman sa fc i get 7.5-8km/L mt pag city driving. Masyadong traffic kasi samin.

In between the supports parang butas naman talaga. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Regards to FC, kukunin ko matic. I'm expecting siguro mga 7 kms/L sa heavy traffic. Pero ako naman taga-South so I'm using usually SLEX (Bicutan, Sucat, Alabang, Makati). If mixed Driving baka tumaas naman ng konti.

January 13th, 2013 09:09 PM #1497Sa Everest limited un sir ung tatlong parts(ung dalawa is body cladding tapos isang spoiler) actually 4 na ngaun, meron na rin dun sa likod ung sa ibabaw bumper skid plate ata tawag dun.. Yung limited na lang kunin mo sir haggle ka lang sa mga dealers baka makadiscount ka ng up to 100k kasi nung last year promo nila nung october 100k disc sa eve. Nakuha namin eve ko with 60k disc nung june gusto ko talaga yung limited pero since ayaw ng erpat ang at eh sa mt kami nauwi masyadong classic sya. Hehe

January 14th, 2013 03:40 PM #1498Di na kaya i stretch ang budget. SRP of the limited is P1.530M. Best discount mabibigay is P110K. Kilala ko na ang GM nyan so malamang sagad sa buto na ang discount. If I count the extra features (HU pareho parin) laking mura na kung sa labas ko papakabit. Yung plus points lang dun yung gold color ng limited. Eto nalang ang added freebies: back up sensor, full tint sa front, 3 years LTO, change of stock horn (supot ang stock...parang hindi pang SUV) and full tank (under negotiation pa). Sabi ko kasi yung rain guard na inaalok di ko na kukunin kasi di naman ako mahilig dun unless yung silver color which can be had outside. Black lang ang meron sa CASA.

January 17th, 2013 06:28 AM #1500Just got my White Everest yesterday. Sabi ng SA di na daw kelangan break in at pwede na ihataw. Pwede naba talaga?
The hybrid release was also basically an all-new model release for TMPI, I think.
