AVT brand is under Winterpine, so yes, they are the one supplying the modules for navigation of the Everest. I was just hoping that they don't have exclusivity contract with Ford. But anyway, exclusivity or not, seems we have limited options with regards to built-in navigation. Best option would be if we can at least sync our android phones and display Waze on our HUs. With Sync 2 this is not possible, with Sync 3 it is still questionable, as there seems to be limited apps that can be synced with it.

If only Ford can provide PH navigation maps in their proprietary SD card like the ones they use in Europe and the US. I'm pretty sure it will work here because they have this working for Everests in Australia. But I guess there is not much motivation from their side to do this as it will be costly to develop or buy map data, and now that Waze is here, there might not be much of a market for that.

Waze is really the best because of its traffic update. Not an everest owner, just butting in. Our montero has avt navigation. Very clear ang pag turo nya. Pati mga overpass underpass tinuturo na dun ka pumasok. Pero di ko na ginagamit dahil wala namang traffic update. Waze ako palagi

So wag masyado manghinayang kung walang navigation na kasama. We all have a smartphone

Yup. Waze user here as well and traffic update is a big plus for it. And it's (almost) free.

Some people just want to utilize the navigation feature of their Everest's HUs. I feel sorry for them for paying 35K just to make it work. I know it's their money but still one can't help to feel sorry, especially for those who are not aware that there are better options for them.

yup needed yan dun sa rear plate because the bolt holes are too low. where did you get it? balak ko nga pag wala ako makita baka ordinary plate protector na lang tapos relicate the holes, holes on the protector attach to the tail gate then holes on the plate attch to the protector. kaso wala na makita na plate protectors sa auto accessories shops.

Check mo website nya, yung provided ni walter, dami ko na napili at nasa cart ko, including the shinemate ero600 da polisher and collinite 476. Still deciding on claybar or claysponge.

Pansin ko lang dun sa bagong labas na unit, nag auto na yun recirc button ng aircon pag on. Dun sa mga may problem sa "auto recirc" baka update lang sa sync3 yun kelangan para gumana.
