[QUOTE=yebo;2615916]A ladder frame suv may be the worst choice for old people. 1, it is high and poses dificulty in going in and out. 2, it is not as comfortable as a sedan or a unibody crossover. Also, as civic1990 said, why a manual? Unless she has a driver... o baka naman "for mom" but ikaw ang gagamit hehehehe!
She has a driver, my mom chose the Everest because she said it's more practical during monsoon season. Our family loves manual transmission except me, I drive an a/t. I was also saying that it's too high to get in and out.
Try the Toyota Innova, it's better for older people and it has good enough ground clearance for fording floods.
Hi mga sir, at last i finally measured yung trunk compartment ng everest..hehe..looks can be deceiving talaga last time i check kala ko maliit ung compartment nya compare sa montero pero number shows mas malaki (ng konti) ung trunk ng everest sharing the comparison ng montero & everest.. measurement is in inches pala hope lumabas ung attachment ko.

mabigat ang everest so don't expect it to go fast. hangang 200 kph lang nga speedometer e so probable top speed around 180 kph.
