If I had the money for a CUV (1.5 million), I'd probably get the CX-7 or a Forester.

    then the CR-V (1.3 million)

but kung budgeted talaga (~1m) it's the tucson or the escape... both vehicles are really great value for the money. yun lang wala nang m/t escape

*Horsepower: meron nang 3rd gen escape na ilalabas dito?

*Gen. Miting: mukhang may fans club ka pala. pati dun sa captiva thread andun sya

pare pasali ha!, though im a bmw benz mechanic and user, i used to have ford escape 2.3 xls before. pare kunin mo na!!!! maganda review on escape basta yung 2.3 lang ha. mas malakas sa gas yung 2.0 nila kasi under power ,and of course yung 3.0 given na lumalaklak ng gas yun. 2.3 escape is much better in tourque and ride. tamang tama lang for city driving. maganda rin ang aircon and simple lang ang mga features hindi kumplikado. its a nice car bro!

    hyundai tucson 1.039M
    ford escape xls 1.050M
    ford escape xlt 1.099M

The Mazda Tribute's body is OLD. There's the CX-7 but it doesn't fit your budget. Cancel the Tribute in your list UNLESS you opt for the white color, very nice !

The Hyundai Tucson 2WD GLS(?) is good enough, and yes it's not the very base model so it does get great features too.

Ford Escape XLT/S, I really don't know what is the very main difference between the 2 but I guess, both are great choices. I prefer the escape in white or blue. :D

Should be doc, last 2007 pa nilabas yung 2008 Escape (the one that looks like a mini-Exped). It has a six-speed AT tranny compared to the stone age 4AT and body of the current one being sold here.

I hope they equip that upcoming escape with a TDCi though

For a 1.1 M budget or even less, i will have no qualms getting the Escape if you are looking for a CUV.

A 4x2 pick-up (i.e. Trekker) is a very compelling for that budget though.

I didn't not have a tsikot til I'm in residency training back in the 90s. That sedan (a Corolla bigbody) is still with me---serviceable pa but semi-retired na.

Meron XLT trim na 4x2 lang ---which includes foglamps, front and back skidplates, parking sensors, leather steering wheel, among others that are not found in the XLS trim. Price difference of about P50,000.

bibili lang ako ng mazda tribute if it's a white one and then super dark tint all over tapos sa future papakabitan ko ng bling mags

but since mazda tribute is just the ford escape, mag escape ka na lang talaga. white din heheh
