I think the CR-V with 2 rows and 3 rows have the 2nd row in the same position. The Territory is purely a 2 row vehicle so they can position the seats further back to increase rear legroom.

In 3 more months, my Civic FB will be 1 year since it's last oil change, around 8k kms maybe, it was a quick oil change done at the casa using mineral.

Natatamad ako pa change oil, maganda pa naman ang takbo.

Just use synthetic oil and change it every year assuming you just do around 10k km per year.

Kaya talaga dapat humingi ng service record kung bibili ng 2nd hand na sasakyan. Baka yung iba pinapaabot ng 1 year. 😂

Uly doesn't like the Territory (warning: racist overtones in the review):

No offense but I feel he usually only likes cars which have a Subaru or Mazda badge on it.

None taken. I prefer him over Deakin, tho.

Di naman. IMHO Uly is mostly fair and balanced when it comes to reviews. For Ford, the Expedition and Everest had good reviews.

    Probably Pandemic stress.
Ford stressed several things including comfort, so don't expect it to behave like a stiffly sprung Euro Ford.
Learning the easy shortcuts should help. Testing a car for a short period and owning one are two different things.

    Getrag made Ford's phased-out dry-clutch DCT.
I Google searched the transmission of the new Ford Territory, it uses a Punch Powertrain VT5 CVT, same lineage as the VT1 CVT of the 1st gen (BMW-developed) MINI of the 2000s.

Yes, it was so unlikely of him to write with such undertones. You can always write how poor a car can be but with some s3xist innuendos takes it to a different level.

I don't read car reviews but got curious with the comments here. I'm surprised that I enjoyed reading it, the analogy was entertaining

Based on his rants, it looks like he wanted a Focus instead, not a comfort-oriented SUV. Lol
Bob Sharp, a Brazilian motoring journalist and former race car driver liked it.

    Racist too:

"She hasn’t been wrangling crocodiles and ‘roos, she’s been eating bats and pangolins!"

CarGuide did write a glowing review of the Geely Coolray, without the need to go full sinophobe, of course. But this was prior to Metro Manila turning into covidland.

Ah yes, stand corrected ... was rather poor taste to mention bats ... maybe his way of venting anger concerning the virus ... but who knows ...

Ford's not too happy about the article ... https://www.************/2020/08/her...o-compare.html ...

Maybe the proof reader did not return to work or WFH is really affecting the writer ... "Let me explain in the best way I can: an analogy. And no, this won’t be ***iest" ...

as of these latter years never naman naging forte ng ford ang tranny. however honda GM getrag zf also have had their share of trouble prone transmissions kaso in the case of ford parang sunod sunod. I personally still have reservations at di ako ganun ka confident pa sa ford tranny now however I can understand the people who do take the risk. i guess other features (pogi ang styling, loaded with tech) makes it worth it for them to take the plunge
