September 10th, 2018 10:53 AM #135get the 2017 model. the headlamp leveling issue should have already been rectified with that model.
having said that, here are a few issues i had with my everest since i bought it, one of which is not attributable to ford itself:
headlamp leveling motor - known issue for 2015/2016 titanium premium models
power seat malfunction (passenger side) - isolated case, haven't heard one from FECP members. for replacement by ford as it is still covered by warranty but still waiting for parts
multiple alarms on dash, engine won't start - several cases on FECP, caused by ant infestation on fuse/relay box. at least 4 of the 6 relays were damaged, but i had all of them replaced with new ones. this is not covered by warranty, but fortunately relays are not that expensive, 345 pesos per relay so around 2k for all 6 of them.
aside from these, no other issues so far with my 2016 titanium premium. it's a good SUV overall. i really like the cross-traffic alert feature when backing-up. big help especially with huge SUVs like the everest.

September 10th, 2018 11:39 AM #137nah. there is power coming through the wires up to the power seat motor. ford says it's a defective motor.
besides, fuses are immune to ant infestation (there are no relays for the power seats as far as i know, only fuses). relays though are not since they are not sealed. also, the fuse box for the power seat is a different one to where the relays are located.
although i will not totally discount your theory, this is likely a defective motor based on initial diagnosis. the power seat failure also happened several months before the relays' failure.

September 10th, 2018 11:47 AM #138if the wiring (or any other component) has any bahid of food (assembly workers back from the lunch brake) or food-a-taste, rats will bite into it.
