And there goes Mang Inasal. Siguradong magiging too commercialized na din. And start seeing your chicken getting downsized...

Panalo dito si Edgar Sia. He can now retire and so is his kids (kung meron man)...

Di naman tayo sure kung mawawala yan. Pero Jollibee is very commercialized... So expect kung unli parin ang rice baka even lower quality just to keep it or bawi sa manok...

Injap was already a billionaire prior to this pero just barely a billionaire now he is really a billionaire!!

A Philippine version of YouTube to say the least...

Just in case you didn't know YouTube was the brainchild of 2 college students. Google bought it in 2006 and they became USD billionaires!

Jollibee, Greenwich, Chow King, Delifrance, Red Ribbon and now Mang Inasal. Nothing wrong with that. Ganun din naman yung Terriyaki Boy to Pancake House.

    Delifrance isn't doing very well...

And yeah Teriyaki Boy's quality dropped a lot after Pancake House bought it... It was so much better when it was owned by an independent entrepreneur... In other words, commercialized na nga owned by a public corporation.

Wag naman sanang mawala yung unli rice. Pero I expect na na liliit yung serving ng chicken nila.

Haay. I'll surely miss those big servings of Pecho!

Jollibee tried a filipino food business formula with Manong Pepe. Dunno if this was supposed to compete with Mang Inasal.

    http://oks.ph/food/manong-pepe-jolli...astfood-brand/

Manong Pepe: Jollibee’s Cheap Fastfood Brand
Manong Pepe is Jollibee’s next attempt in the retail fast-food chain in the Philippines.

An average meal with rice and free soup costs between 39 to 49 pesos. A value or solo meal with rice, viand, free lumpia, free soup and a soda costs Php 57. Manong Pepe features Filipino favorites such as adobo, caldereta, laing and picadillo. It also serves Filipino desserts such as halo-halo, maja blanca, bibingka and ginataang bilo-bilo. Three new products are added each week such as nilagang baka, bopis, bistek tagalog, sinigang na bangus, sinigang na baboy, Bicol express and kare-kare.

There are close to half a dozen new branches in Metro Manila — Lawton Avenue and Dapitan Street both in Manila, RCBC Building in Makati, Edsa Cubao bus terminal in Quezon City, Recto Avenue in Manila, and San Joaquin in Pasig City.

hindi naman yan ang goal ng jollibee. Jollibee wants the inasal branding para sa mga susunod na generation. if they get mang inasal, in 5 years or so, Jollibee invented the inasal chicken

pero i doubt if they can branch out this abroad. kasi hindi kaya ng mga chinese ang inasal chicken. my fil-chinese friends nun pinakain ko dito, pila-pila sila sa CR afterwards

dapat ang bilhin ni Jollibee eh yun Pinoy PInay sa L.A. saka Las Vegas. yun ang may pag-asa sa US Market
