Di naman tayo sure kung mawawala yan. Pero Jollibee is very commercialized... So expect kung unli parin ang rice baka even lower quality just to keep it or bawi sa manok...

hindi naman yan ang goal ng jollibee. Jollibee wants the inasal branding para sa mga susunod na generation. if they get mang inasal, in 5 years or so, Jollibee invented the inasal chicken

pero i doubt if they can branch out this abroad. kasi hindi kaya ng mga chinese ang inasal chicken. my fil-chinese friends nun pinakain ko dito, pila-pila sila sa CR afterwards

dapat ang bilhin ni Jollibee eh yun Pinoy PInay sa L.A. saka Las Vegas. yun ang may pag-asa sa US Market

+1 tried it when I was in SanFo last month, di ganun kalasa yung chicken at maliit nga para sa price nya.

anyway, siguradong magiging commercialized na din to pagkatapos. parang red ribbon at chowking lang din, after mabili ng jbee di na ganun ka ok mga products nila.

yung owner ng Reyes BBQ used to work at Aristocrat. Alin mas masarap: Aristocrat or Reyes BBQ?
    afaik they are related.

    ngek

    di mo nagets post ko

i wasnt talking about Jollibee's goal

i was talking about the goal of the people who made Mang Inasal

their goal was to build a brand

to build a brand that will catch the attention of giants

to build a brand that will make a good investment for deep-pocketed investors

    they got Jollibee's attention

    jackpot

    --

actually, that's the goal of many entrepreneurs

to get bought and become seriously rich

create a business so successful that it blinks on the radar of giants

Is that a fact? I mean yan ba ang goal ni Edgar as he himself explained it?

No disrespect, but ang alam ko kasing usual goal ng mga businessmen in starting a business is to earn money for oneself, not to build a brand and cross your fingers that some monster in the industry at a future date (after 7 long years) will come and gobble (buy) you up so that you can retire for life.

    Simply put:

Primary Goal: Start a business to make money.

Icing on the cake (if -- BIG IF -- it happens): Sell business to competitor so I can retire before 30 years old.

siguro sa umpisa hindi yan ang plano niya

but as his business grew, the thought of someone buying his business must have crossed his mind

if the thought didnt cross his mind, people around him must have repeatedly told him that

the thought of being bought by someone must have been planted in his mind some years ago (inception ) and that could have been his motivation for the past few years

his business grew very fast in the past couple of years

    the branch network, the franchises

he probably has been grooming his business to become a takeover target

    it worked

Daig pa niya nanalo sa lotto niyan.

For sure naman sakit ulo rin magpatakbo ng ganyang business. If I remember correctly, there was a period hininto rin nila mag unli rice. Binalik lang rin ulit.

Good for Mr. Sia, bad for the loyal customers, I guess.

Mang Inasal doesn't subsidize the rice. The franchisee does not get the rice from MI.

Back to topic, I was only able to eat once in Mang Inasal - not satisfied. Chicken suck, bbq suck and most of all the service suck.

The utensils we used was like from a carinderia.
Jollibee first offered around 2B, the Pancake House group offered a little less than that. Injap refused their offers.

You're computing the daily sales amount. That amount won't go directly to the owner of MI. MI gets only just a few percent of that amount.

Sobrang bobo naman ng mga tiga Jollibee. Hinde nila naisip na milk tea company dapat and bilhin and not coffee company.

Nanjan mga ice cream store, frozen yogurt and other beverage dessert shops waley nangyari. Its only milkteh nagpataob kay coffee.
