And there goes Mang Inasal. Siguradong magiging too commercialized na din. And start seeing your chicken getting downsized...

Panalo dito si Edgar Sia. He can now retire and so is his kids (kung meron man)...

    build a business/brand

    hope the giants will notice

    a giant notices

    But wait, there's more!

    Then

Injap was already a billionaire prior to this pero just barely a billionaire now he is really a billionaire!!

A Philippine version of YouTube to say the least...

Just in case you didn't know YouTube was the brainchild of 2 college students. Google bought it in 2006 and they became USD billionaires!

Jollibee, Greenwich, Chow King, Delifrance, Red Ribbon and now Mang Inasal. Nothing wrong with that. Ganun din naman yung Terriyaki Boy to Pancake House.

    Delifrance isn't doing very well...

And yeah Teriyaki Boy's quality dropped a lot after Pancake House bought it... It was so much better when it was owned by an independent entrepreneur... In other words, commercialized na nga owned by a public corporation.

Dati masarap ang bread ng Delifrance lalu na pag bagong luto ang baguette nila! Ngayon hindi na ako bumibili sa kanila. Bute pa si French Baker of John Lu Koa hindi natitinag at napapagbili.

Sa bagay malakas kase talaga ang French Baker on its own.

Yan namang mga inasal restos na yan uso uso lang eh.

Pero kung ako tatanungin, solid ako sa inasal ni Joel Torre na JT's Manukan!

    Galit talaga sa double spacing.

    Liit siguro ng monitor?

Teriyaki Boy was 100% better before they sold out. I used to eat there all the time. Now, I can only take limited doses. Always thought it was just because of the local branch... but if quality everywhere has deteriorated, then I guess I won't find joy at Morato, either.

    -

Another restaurant ruined by buy-out: Brother's Burgers. It's a mere shadow of its former self.

    -

I disagree about Delifrance. Sure, it's not perfect, but their meals are kind of nice, at least. We eat there every once in a while.

    Mang Inasal Chicken?

    Get smaller?

    Is that even possible?

    Baka Inasal Chicken nuggets?

Hmm.. hindi naman ako kumakain sa mang inasal.. pero kudos to the previous owner. tiba tiba sila.. at ang sabi ng ka office ko may 30% share pa rin daw sila eh. so kahit na hindi na sila ang may handle may makukuha pa rin sila sa mang inasal if ever. ^^,m

>.< i gave that branc 3 times and they failed all the time kaya kasama na yung teriyaki boy sa global city sa ban list namin...

What worries me is that sooner or later there will be no more niche players because big business buys them out and spewing out commercialized goodies. I was a former classmate of Injap Sia, and I was able to talk to him, he still retains 30% of his shareholdings plus several branches are still under his control. May niluluto lang ata na plano si Injap Sia. Who knows maybe he'll someday own Jollibee na rin. He is a very shrewd businessman for a guy 35 years of age.
