na curious lang ako: farms are cutting down production, if not culling their stock, due to low sales locally. if people aren't buying chicken anymore, then what are people substituting for it? di ba ung manok na ang pinakamurang karne na mabibili mo? pwede siguro isda, pero di na rin ganun kamura, di ba?

o puro mga imported chicken/chicken parts ang pinambibili?

medyo inconsistent ung reports imho. last year pa nila sinasabi na malaki nga ang potential for chicken exports 'coz of the bird flu. pero it turns out nagka cull pa ung mga producers

pero what are people replacing chicken with these days? don't tell me naging mostly vegatarian na ang tao ngayon all of a sudden

any inside info from companies like Jollibee, KFC, Mcdo, etc? bumaba kaya sales nila ng chicken?

anyway... data from major supermarkets say malakas daw ang instant noodles. Guess that's what people eat nowadays... only instant noodles. hehe

well, chickenjoy and chicken mcdo these days really aren't cheap anymore; ung 2 pc chickenjoy is about 120 pesos na di ba? compared to the price, parang di kasi sulit. in a way, parang mas sulit pa pera mo sa restos like mann hann -- mahal nga, pero at least busog ka

based dun sa friend ko na may poultry, before daw 10 thousand heads ang minimum na karga ng poultyr nila, ngayon 5k na lang.. mainly because natakot ang tao sa bird flu virus...

karamihan din yata, noodles na lang ulam..
