i concur, especially the last paragraph. this is so because if you cannot govern your own thoughts and actions you have no business governing somebody else thoughts and actions.

1. it would destroy you, if you get what you want.
2. you're only wishing for it, but you are not working hard enough for it, yet.
3. "i have better plans for you. just be patient, my child."

some people count their blessings, in lieu of dwelling on the sadness of their life. sabi nga ni ted faylon, "buhay ka pa! gumising ka pa today, na may pagkain sa mesa! does that not count for anything?"

My German boss can also make me happy. He is so good at making me laugh

That's the big problem. I don't take disappointments very well. I cut them out para di na ko masaktan pa. Same thing I did with my friends and family who disappointed me.

What I do is I think about the times I have disappointed other people as well. It reaffirms the fact that we are only human and prone to make mistakes. It pays to forgive people quickly. The longer you hang on to your disappointment, the worse off you will be.
