Regarding living vs. cremate. Its mostly because of costs. Columbarium unit at st.therese near resorts world can be had at 60k.
When my dad passed away, my mom didnt like the location od the vault for my dad. So we had to buy a new one worth 60k, on the day his ashes was supposed to go in.

Cost of cremation is same as hukay of the grave.

Iyan yata yung may 24-hour aircon na Columbarium. Di na maiinitan yung namatay. Haha. Kung yan nga, dyan nilibing yung asawa ng pinsan ko at ahente naman dyan yung isang kababata namin.

There was a time na bihirang-bihira talaga sa mga Katoliko ang nagpapa-cremate. Pero over the years ramdam at kita mo rin yung naging acceptance. Naging praktikal na rin kasi mga tao lalo na at nagmahal na mga lote sa memorial parks.

This is really my experience kaya takang taka ako na recently dumadami na ang nacremate

regarding Noynoy, I still can't understand why he was cremated (Ninoy and Cory were not) and why the wake was just one day

I wonder how it is now sa Mindanao sa mga namatay sa covid, alam ko bawal cremation sa muslim.

Some of my aunts na INC who died of covid kinailangan pa makialam ng mga officials ng INC para agawin sa cremation yung body kasi bawal sa INC ang cremation. Pero libing kagad the next day.

I just bought a plot in Eternal Gardens memorial park.So nalaman ko na may 3 major expense pala ang death. The other 2 being Memorial and Interment services so kailangan ng pre need dito para wala na masyado problem ang maiiwan.

St Peter ata ang top of mind and most reliable kapag Life plans pero memorial services lang. May pre need memorial and interment packages din ang Eternal pero tagilid ata ang company na ito? Any recommendations?
