May 15th, 2008 08:48 PM #1hi,
thanks

May 15th, 2008 10:45 PM #2i forgot the name of the gasket type used on paper as gasket but i was able to buy one when i was installing an engine water pump WHIZ ang brand.. it looks like RUGBY contact cement but more sticky para siyang gum type.. more effective that using silicon gasket pag silicon kasi ginamit mo at medyo makapal pwede pumasok sa loob ng engine at bumara sa internals

May 15th, 2008 11:20 PM #3It depends on the type of parts to be assembled.
you could use just a plain automotive grease like for carburator
application. Or you may use whiz gasket cement for a more permanent application.
There is also another type of sealant being used to assemble transmission
differentials, forget the brand, it comes in grayish white and have more elastic properties than the whiz gasket cement which dries up hard and brittle.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
