Good Day! I have an Isuzu c240 diesel engine, and im planning to change my exhaust pipes and mufflers probably next week. I just wanna ask what is the ideal material to use for a diesel engine. and where to go to have it serviced. Thanks in advance.

    ^^ mufflerland or nodalos.
imho, the best material to use is aluminum. lightweight, durable and rustproof.

    Sir:

Ang diesel hindi mapili sa materyales dahil di namamasa ang buga.

Unlike gasoline engines that sometimes have wet exhausts diesel always have dry exhausts.

You can use black iron without fear of rusting out.

I don't recommend headers however as they tend to create a lot of underhood heat and noise. Use the standard exhaust manifold with freer flowing mufflers (like Cherry Bomb's Turbo design).

what is the ideal exhaust pipe/muffler material to use?
