No offense man, but E-10 or not , kailangan nating regular inpections ng fuel lines dahil gasoline tends to weaken rubber parts.

Diesel engines on the other hand swing the opposite direction. Diesel can use biodiesel far better than gasoline engines can use E10. Some web sites on biodiesel even allude that newer CRDI engines would fair badly when you use biodiesel.

mas mahusay daw gamitin biodiesel sa lumang diesel engine (with bosch type pump or something). newer diesel engines ones would be more incompatible.

many studies say its ok kahit pa daw 20%. d pa talaga natin fully malalaman.

maybe in the future all diesel will have biodiesel mixed. meron ba station na

mas higher percent ang mix ng biodiesel?

+1 Mga Direct Rail Injection pumps are incompatible with biodiesel.

i've had to overhaul the carb in my dad in law's 99 corolla xe, not once, but twice.

corroded canister valve, too. ang mahal nito, badtrip.

experienced a host of fuel consumption issues after switching to extra unleaded with e10 couple years ago. problems seem to go away whenever i load up on XCS before they put e10 in it.

now that there's e10 in everything, i'm loading up on the highest octane fuel (cheapest) i can find. that's seaoil's extreme 97 RON. i'm sorta hoping the high octane will mitigate any bad effects of the ethanol.

can't we just start a petition that will remove ethanol from all but the cheapest gasolines? like, pag 93 RON dapat may ethanol, and 95 RON and up dapat wala? kasi ang mahal din ng gas eh, with or without ethanol. we might as well start paying for a straight, unadulterated product.

What does a canister valve do?

^ i don't know exactly. i'm guessing it traps fuel vapors for the carb to use upon startup.

most taxis remove it, makes no difference to engine. when i removed the broken one, had to crank the engine 3 times before it fires up in the morn.

since the car's not mine, i went out and replaced the canister valve na rin... mahirap na masisi lalo na't sa in laws ko yun hahaha

Urgent! (can't find non-E10-gasoline)
