    ^ i don't know exactly. i'm guessing it traps fuel vapors for the carb to use upon startup.

    most taxis remove it, makes no difference to engine. when i removed the broken one, had to crank the engine 3 times before it fires up in the morn.

    since the car's not mine, i went out and replaced the canister valve na rin... mahirap na masisi lalo na't sa in laws ko yun hahaha

    Hehehe, I think you have water in your tank. Have your suking mechanic drain your tank and replace filters. Then you may observe if the same thing happens again.

    Share ko lang. Pinaayos ko carburetor ng Corolla 983 XE ko, pinalitan yung rubber plunger. SAbi ng mekaniko sa A&M dahil daw sa E10 fuel yun. (Napakargahan ko accidentally ng E10 kasi yung gas station na pinakargahan ko, walang sign na yung premium gas nila eh may halo nang ethanol.)

    Ngayon sinasadya ko pa ang Jetti sa Macapagal para lang non-E10 ang maipakarga ko.

    Babayaran kaya ni Migz Zubiri yung ginastos ko sa repair?

    Kotse ko naka carb with e10- hard starting at takaw sa gas.

    Magkano pagawa mo sa A&M?
    Aside from A&M (at mga katabi sa Kamias Road) anong shops pa pwede gumawa ng fuel lines para maging e10 compatible?

    Ang option nalang talaga natin mga naka-carb is gawing e10 compatible ang sasakyan. Ang hirap at impractical naman kung dadayuhin pa natin mga gas stations na walang e10.

    UniOil here in Sucat Road, a few hundred meters away from SM Sucat,- pure gasoline pa rin...

    The Jetti news is good for me, if true. Its the only small player close to my home/office e. Even PTT is on that crap and expensive ethanol now.

    Naglaho parang bula yung fans ni Mr Sugar Baron Politician nung dumami na naka try ng ethanol a ...

    I hate e-10, period. It gives my car poor fuel economy thus making me go to gas stations more often than before.

    And I don't know if you really would consider my " experience " as hard starting since, it still starts in one click ( thankfully ) but the " redondo " is longer than how it was before.

Urgent! (can't find non-E10-gasoline)
