April 24th, 2004 09:35 AM #12according to cong obet, medyo problematic ang 2LT especially yung nasa PRADO/BUNDERA/Landcruiser ii
nasa cylinder head yata ang medyo may sayad, hindi ko masyado narinig in detail kasi sobrang dami ng 4x4s dun.

possible cause nun overheat mo are 2 things, first bka nakakabit pa yun THERMOSTAT sa water spout mo, 2nd if you already experienced overheat b4 even once there's enough reason to suspect that you blew your Cylinder Head Gaskets... Sakit ng Toyota yan, pero replacement lang naman gagawin mo... Had it b4 sa 2 toyotas ko. Nag overheat yun isa coz my driver 4got to return the radiator cap then yun na... every other day nag ooverheat. When i had it checked sa Mech ko, busted yun cyl head gasket. Pero matibay naman ang cyl heads ng toyota, they dont easily crack. Chek mo din radiator mo bka puro kalawang na, and at least 3 to 4 rows if possible yun. If you're using aircon dapat may auxillary fan installed also.

April 25th, 2004 05:19 PM #16Problema nga 2L-T engine cylinder head, madali mag overheat tapos nabebengkong ang cylinder head. We had 3 cases na ganyan, from subic landcruisers and hi ace.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
