I've been getting really good mileage with Total's Excellium Diesel. My last FC using Shell Fuel Save diesel was 5.7 to 6 liters per 100. Shifting to Excellium, improved to 5.5. On a recent trip to Subic on a full tank, 4.5 back to back Cavite-Subic-Cavite. With some Alabang & Sucat traffic & more SLEX trips, final FC before a full tank was 4.9. Actual was 19.2 kms/lit via full tank method. The car runs smoother on this fuel & I guess cleaner because it is low sulfur. I'm just wondering what the sulfur ppm is.

Nope. Euro II pa rin. Max 500 ppm but based on COQ nasa 440 ppm yung actual samples.

Nope walang Euro 3 sa kahit anong products nila. They will bring Euro 4 as soon as everyone else does. As importers, it's easier for them to make the switch, compared to refiners.

Petron's all-Euro 4 gasolines haven't really been denting other players' gasoline sales in Manila. Dito lang naman sa Tsikot OA yung paghahanap ng Euro 4.

Was surprised when I gassed up at Total Boni yesterday. Excellium 95 at just 41.55! Mas mura pa sa Kalayaan (they're not so cheap now, dati almost 2 pesos diff sa Shell/Caltex/Total EDSA pero nowadays, 50 centavos na lang).

There was a price war in Kalayaan circa-2011/2012, and only now have they been able to raise prices back to regular Metro levels. Ganun kahirap magprice-retreat compared sa price war. Ultimately, customers win and oil companies lose during price wars.

So if you guys want more price wars, fill up more at independent stations so that major players have no choice but to match their prices and then you get cheap branded fuel.

I am envious. Premium gas in Calamba is currently at 46-47 peso range.
