^^ manufacturers normally recommend on having it changed between the 70-80km mark. consider it as part of your preventive maintenance.

you can usually check for the condition of the belt via visual inspection, pero normally, people who are proactive do not do this, but follow the odo reading as i've stated above.

and yes. do not hold on and hesitate in changing this. more expensive pag naputulan ka.

usually dapat mga 100km ... that is what the manufacture recommend ... pero dito sa philippines sa sobrang traffic this is not followed usually mga 80 - 90 km pinapalitan na ...

if your buying a second hand car it is best to replace it ... kasi pagnaputulan yan ... overhaul na ang baksak mo

i don't know where to get original TBs for toyotas. but somehow its at the range of 1.8k.

take note that you would also have to replace the tensioner bearing. and if you can afford it, try to have the water pump replaced too, para tipid sa labor.

To lhie : Kung wala na ang parts ng modelo ng corolla mo sa casa, for sure you won't be able to find original parts. You'll have to make do with replacement parts. Try mo sa Banawe o d kaya sa Paco. Baka sakali, meron pa duon.

To fLaKeZ: Kung kasama na labor, magla-an ka ng mga P8th - P10th. Depende pa sa singil ng mekaniko (usually P2,500.00)
