    Just wanted to share. I have mix and matched unleaded and premium gas ok naman. I even tried mixing unleaded with shell and petron's extra unleaded. same thing.

    Well then you are just wasting money. If your manual states that you don't need high octane fuel but you use it and then mix it with lower octane fuel you are wasting money. Save money and just follow what the car is supposed to use, mixing octane has no benefits and serves no purpose.

    OT: why will mileage on E10 decrease...and what are the pros and cons of E10 if used on carburated engines?

    there's a sign on E10 pumps saying: designed for fuel injected engines

    ^^ may nakapagsabi sakin that if E10 is used sa carb engine, there will be a vapor lock. this occurs daw with carb type engines kaya E10 is advisable only to EFI cars.

    Personal experience lang po....when i used "unleaded" gas in my 1993 Corolla before parang madaling maubos....when back to premium mas okey performance. Its probably due to the additives which make fuel burned maximally.

    Pakiramdaman mo lang. Mixing different octane levels does not make sense.
