The 10w40 and 15w40 can be used for both gas and diesel engines. The 15w40 is a better for diesels.

November 6th, 2007 07:06 AM #3some of the newer tests encompass a whole lot of other things din. basic rule of thumb is use the viscosity that is recommended by the engine though.

wrcastro_ph, parang nadaanan na namin lahat nun ah. hehe! RP has the most comprehensive lineup of viscosities to choose from which is why it's pretty impressive.
simplicity, you're best off using the 10w40. yup we have it and pwede yan viscosity sa promo.
snowbound, RP syn oil is 440/liter, RP XPR racing oil 850/lit, syn ATF 650/lit, syn gear oils 700/lit.
mbeige, yup meron. look for the 15w40 viscosity oil. complete API certification for diesel engines

April 6th, 2012 11:31 PM #10Sir balak ko sana dalhin dyan vios ko for 40k pms. Pede matanong kung may sinusunod kayong procedures sa shop for 40k pms gaya ng sa casa? (automatic palit break pads etc.) I personally have no idea kasi kung ano pa dapat gawin if you reach this certain number of kilometers aside sa engine tune up. Baka pede makahingi ng assistance if ever. Sayang naman kasi ipupunta kung hindi lahat ng checks magagawa.
