*sir dvldoc, do you happen to have any info regarding K&N Pro Series oil filters (PS)? I was only able to find:

K&N Performance Gold Series (HP)
100% at 40 microns
100% at 35 microns
100% at 30 microns
99.4% at 25 microns
98.9% at 20 microns
97.1% at 15 microns
92.3% at 10 microns
82.5% at 5 microns

I wonder if the the K&N Pro Series (PS) are having the same efficiency rates. Externally, I see the K&N Performance Gold Series (HP)series having a hex head bolt... but the Performance Gold Series (HP) seems to have more than 2x the price compared to the Pro Series (PS) of the same size...

They don't look to be as heavy duty of a filter. But the rating is good.

Since this also is a Filter topic just want to confirm if this Filter L24457 I got today is Genuine? NO doubt the Bigger one L34750 is fake!





BELOW Is the Original picture I got from Purolator website, looks same but if looked closer the holes are different from the purchase I made above? im Just thinking maybe I got an older production or has it been always made that way? Can anyone confirm?

*RT i noticed there's no printed country of origin on the filter.. and I recently search here tsikot someone posted pics of Original Purolator, another indicator was the numbers printed on the top is far different . Ive confirmed I got the fake the one I cant believe even the guy in charge insisted it was genuine!
