The ZDDP level is a bit high for a gas engine, Testing shows a 25% shorter CAT life but that's with a standard life of 160000klm. But you can think of it like this which is more expensive to replace in the future, the Cat or the engine. For me I rather have higher engine protection but that's just me. 1200ppm or lower is what you want for a gas car that's what use to be in oils back in 2007 if your worried about your CAT. For me I will be using the highest zinc content I can find in all my vehicles gas or diesel.

CAT VS ENGINE, Engine wins for me. Plus with the fuel quality there your CAT will probably poop out early anyways.

It's a group IV oil like Mobil 1 so that's one good thing it's got going for it. The MSDS sucks from these guys.

You shouldn't be using 30 weight oil in anything in the Philippines if your looking for longer oil life, It's a tropical climate, don't even know why they sell it.

Idemistu 5w30 is the 1st on the left, Mobil 1 5w30 is right next to it so you can get a good comparison, I know what I rather have in my oil sump.

ok sir, i will check if the innova and vios have catcon. if not, will use the 1st option which has high Zinc content (though, its not S rated. dont know if i should be worried with this)

if both have catcon, then i will use the second option which is idemitsu oil. its actually cheap at 1300 pesos/4 liters.
