Look out for Fake Fleetguards even at the so called authorized dealers.

They have a mix of real and fake.

Things to look out for.

Real fleetguards will never have a sticker as a label on them.

Real will have country of origin stated as MADE IN USA or MADE IN FRANCE ect. Never product of USA.

Real Fleetguards are sealed in plastic.

They will never have yellow print for part numbers.

Gasket will always be perfectly round never notched like the one pictured.

Fakes will be lighter and of lower quality. Rust on a sealed unit is a sure sign it's a fake. They don't rust unless exposed to extreme conditions.

REAL

REAL.

FAKE

FAKE (Almost could fool anyone with this one the outside is well done) No country of origin. Just as bad as a Fram on the inside.

Real ones are totally different.

There are also fake Bosch, MANN, VIC, Toyota, FRAM (Why bother lol) And Nissan floating around there. Just be sure to look at what you by especially from some of these small shops and heck even the big shops that sell filters.

Just remember fake automotive parts make up around 30% of the Asian market. China is the main culprit.
