July 18th, 2008 10:33 AM #22100% Biodiesel for CRDI? Not yet at the moment, and don't even try it, that engine is finicky with regards to fuel or even engine oil.
I think, :dog: I would rather swallow a cup of 100% veggie oil and run :attack:, than put that stuff in a CRDI engine and take the risk of wrecking that expensive car, in case maubusan ng krudo in a very unfortunate circumstance.

Hmmm... from the links... apparently... it's okay... I guess the bigger question is the properties of the oil itself... when the life of your pump and injectors and seals depend on specific lubricity of diesel. Note that in the BMW 120d link posted, the guy had more oil after 14,000 kms... a sure sign of oil being diluted by fuel.
It does show that biodiesel can be run... just that we're not completely sure of what seals and fittings need to be replaced to run it... remember, even on plain old diesel, Isuzu and Toyota are already having problems with things wearing out really quickly on their CRDi systems.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
