Problem accelerating beyond 100kph

Not the filter itself. Yung bilog na plastic na may fins.Ganito yung pagkakabit ng mekaniko:

Tinanggal ko muna yung plastic "fins".
Also, I noticed na hindi ganon kadumi yung air filter. I think masyado narerestrict yung hangin papasok sa loob ng makina.

tama yan kabit ng mekaniko mo... yung fins na yan is intended to disperse the air entering the filter.. masyado kasi nakatutok yung pasukan ng hangin sa air filter kaya nilagyan yan ng fins para pantay yung pasok ng hangin

o nga sir, bakit hindi na lang palitan ng bagong air filter and see if your engine revs improve?

yup, palitan ko na lang ng OEM, sabay ko na sa change TBelt ko

Gamitin mo ma rin ay yung OEM na filter para malaman mo ang response.

Ganon ba sir, I thought the fins are supposed to move, hehe.Anyway, nung tinanggal ko yan, nagimprove yung acceleration ko eh. Palitan ko na lang yung air filter ko. Hindi kasi yan yung usual na binibili ko eh.

Most OEM Air Filters are supposed to be changed every 20k km.....

Hindi aabot yung OEM ng 20K at kailangan mo ng mag palit sa dumi ng hangin maski na binoblow clean pa siya.

Yep, if you live in a polluted city, OEM filters will not last 20K. But here in the province, it will. It also depends on how often you will use your vehicle
