September 30th, 2005 10:02 AM #1hi. needed help fast!
i was driving on my way to the office. ok, ganda ng takbo ng car. then i have to stop over to a gas station to refuel. there i have to turn the engine off. upon starting again, i noticed that my idling is dropping until i reached the parking lot. so, turned the engine off and was about to leave. curiousity, i tried re-starting the car again and it started naman but namamatay agad.
how can i resolve this problem? what would be the cause?
thanks.

try to smell the exhaust... if there's too much gasoline - the af mixture is off.

nope, not alternator. you said you can still start it (which means the battery is not dead), so kahit sira na alternator mo dapat umandar pa din kasi may charge ang battery. if this happened suddenly (you said ok ang takbo before you gassed up) then i suspect water in the tank, the gas station had water in its tanks and they pumped it to your car.
