October 21st, 2023 09:31 PM #6473On my 2014 Vios. I use the shell yellow colored bottle for 8 years now. Since nilabas ko sa casa ang PMS last month need to change valve cover gasket kasi may leak na. Ang linis pa ng engine ko. Regularly changes 5k kms or every 4 to 5 months.

i think i posted this before. 16yo engine. nothing but mineral oil since brand-new. leaky valve cover gasket so super dirty outside, but super clean insidethen i sold the car w/ zero engine issues after cleaning up the leaky oil w/ a lot of brake cleaner
at the end of the day, ibebenta mo rin yan. it's not like you're gonna keep it foreverall that expensive boutique oil won't benefit you at all

October 23rd, 2023 02:06 PM #6477sa 2kd toyota i chuck in whatever cheapest decent oil i can find (i.e. mineral) na spec
but i had a direct injection car before. i did not take the risk because of possible low speed pre ignition at coking up the intake valves. so i used synthetic exclusively to the point bumili pa ako ng botique direct injection specific na low calcium oil

The general definition of boutique motor oils are those that are really premium/expensive; Amsoil, Royal Purple, Liqui Moly, Mobil 1, Valvoline, etc.
